Don't Hurt Him Again

It was once told of a man who was deeply trouble by his sins and had a vivid dream, in which he saw JESUS being savagely whipped by a soldier. As the cruel scourge came down upon CHRIST’s back, the onlooker shuddered, for the terrible cords left ugly, gaping wounds upon HIS bleeding, swollen body. When the soldier raised his arm to strike the LORD, again the man rushed forward to stop him. As he did, the soldier turned and: he dreamer was startled to see his own face!

The dream was a reflection of the dreamer’s  life. Unknown to him , he had been hurting the LORD deeply lifestyle and disposition. You too may be guilty of hurting HIM still. How? You wonder. You hurt HIM.

*When you did not accept HIM (CHRIST JESUS) as your LORD  and SAVIOUR.

*When you choose to remain in your sins even after knowing that HE suffered so much to save you from sin.

*When you reject the gift of salvation and turn deaf ears to HIS gentle entreaties.

*When little by little you cease to draw near to HIM in prayer and fellowship.

*When you begin to treat the word of GOD with less importance.

*When you flagrantly disobey any of HIS commands.

*When your heart craves more for the things of the world than for the things in kingdom (James 4:4 & 1John 2:15).

*When you doubt the depth of HIS LOVE towards you.

*When you act in unbelief to HIS promises concerning your life.

*When you remain stagnant in your growth, spiritually.

*When you are neither here nor there, that is always trying to stay neutral concerning spiritual matters (Revelations 3:15-16).
